This project is about fairy tales. Each school has chosen a fairy tale from its country. Every one has to work with this story at the same time that they discover different facts from each country. The project pretends a friendly approchment among the children of 9 different european countries.

In the end we are going to make up a new fairy tale.  The story started with Hänsel & Gretel who , at the moment, are in Poland with Lacing the cobbler and they are geting ready to visit Pere in Mallorca. After that they will go to Greece where they will find the hero Decatris ...

The new fairy tale is going to count with one or two characters of each country, and they will have exciting adventures together. That's why we choose this name for our site.

The story comes from our children imagination. They work with all the stories, while they learn about each country taking part on the project.

The pictures are also originals and they are done by the children of every country.

 OUR TALE

Our students have already started our tale. German pupils started the story with Hansel & Gretel in Munich. Then the Polish students went on with it, and now the Spanish students are doing the going on.

Here there is a short sumary of it:

 Hänsel & Gretel are in Munich. It is Christmas time, after school they went to the Christmas Market. They strolled around the market with their mum, and finally they saw an old lady. They approached to her and she was a kind of a fortune teller. Hänsel wished to visit other countries and suddenly there was a strong thundering and lighting. the children got blinded with the light, and when they realized they were in an unknown place still a Christmas market but not the same. There they found a little boy like them. His name was Dratewska. Dratewska's talked to them and invited them to have dinner at his house. They ate dinner following the Polish tradition and after all they went to sleep. Once in bed they dreamt they moved into a new country.  Suddenly they wake up in a new town, it is Sa Pobla, in the beautiful island of Mallorca. there is a lot of noise in the streets and all the boys and girls are going up and down, laughing and having fun.

Magically, it turns to be the 16th of January. In Sa Pobla there is a big festival the 17th of January, it is Saint Anthony's day. Hoansel, Gretel and Dratewksa meet Pere, a boy from Mallorca who imediatly invites them to join the fun. The streets are full of bonfires and people dreesed in devil fancy dresses are going arround the town. They chase everyone in the streets making noise with their tangles and booing the kids.

At night the four kids go the the main square in town, where bonfires are set and they can see the fireworks, they play the ximbomba ( a traditional instrument) and they sing songs. The following day is the is the animal's Blessing day. All of them, Hansel, Gretel, Dratweska and Pere, climb into a wagon and they go to the city of Palma, to bless Pere's donkey. Once in Palma, they meet all kind of people, and suddenly they get astonished of hearing people talking their langauage. they get close to them and aske them what they do in Mallorca, so, the people explain them they are tourists who have reached the island in a cruise around the Mediterranean sea. They go to see the boat and the captain invites them to join the cruise. After asking permision to Pere's mum, the four kids get on board and they go to find new adventures. ( to be continued) 

 Every country writes three pages of the story. The pages are invented by the students and they come from their own inmagination. Every page is also illustrated. So, the pictures are made by the children too and they complete the story.
